About David Ortiz

David Ortiz is a former MLB player. Known as “Big Papi”, Ortiz played for the Minnesota Twins and the Boston Red Sox. In his MLB career, David Ortiz ended as the all-time leader in MLB history for home runs, RBIs, and hits as a designated hitter. With the Red Sox, Ortiz is a three-time American League Champion and World Series Champion, being named MVP in his 2013 championship. In his post MLB career, David Ortiz is an MLB post-game studio analyst for FOX Sports, has focused on his charity, the David Ortiz Children’s Fund, which was established in 2005, and created Ortiz34, his brand of children’s baseball equipment.
