Michael Kay is an iconic New York sports broadcaster. Kay has been the voice of the New York Yankees on television since 2002 and spent a decade alongside John Sterling on the radio side prior to that. The Michael Kay Show is heard daily on ESPN Radio in New York, satellite radio nationally, and the YES Network simulcast. In addition to Yankees games and his radio show on YES, Kay hosts a variety of other programs for the network. His career started in newspapers in 1982. Kay originally worked for the New York Post as a general assignment reporter before getting the Yankees beat in 1987. The New York Daily News came calling in 1989, but he still covered the Yankees for his new paper.
