About Jay Williams

Jay Williams is a former basketball player and current television analyst. He played college basketball for the Duke Blue Devil’s men’s basketball team where he won a 2001 NCAA Championship and professionally for the Chicago Bulls in the NBA.

Williams became an ESPN analyst in 2008, after working as a commentator in 2003. Williams joined at the start of the 2014-15 season as an analyst on ESPN’s College GameDay. He was a constant on ESPN and ESPN2’s weeknight coverage and called select college games throughout the year.

Before joining ESPN, Williams was an analyst in 2007 for CBS College Sports Network, primarily working the NCAA Men’s Basketball Tournament. He’s also a previous contributor to Fox Sports Radio 99.9 The Fan in North Carolina. relaxinfo
